Human Resources Management
Upon researching the needs of WISEs the Croatian WISEs managers that were questioned expresses a desire and need to further develop their human resources management capacities.
The training held in Zagreb, Croatia has envisioned in such manner that it gives context to both individual roles, the teams that individuals make, and the greater context that these two types of units face within the whole -the system of the organization. This translates to the fact that the training covers the three integral levels of human resources management: the development of the individual, the development of the team, and processes on the organizational level of human resources management. The training is targeted at both executive and functional management (different departments) of SE’s and WISE’s.
Training in Croatia is based on the Human Resources Management topic. It covers the three integral levels of human resources management: the development of the individual, the development of the team, and processes on the organizational level of human resources management. The individual development of employees in the company needs to be considered and the employee’s job would ideally contribute to his/her personal development. Therefore, this segment of the training covers the importance of human potential development towards the cumulative success of the organization; the career development and directing of employees; as well as applied activities that support employee development and the planning process for those. Teamwork, the next level, is perhaps the most important ingredient of any success story. For this reason, this training covers at length what teamwork is, what is the effect of teamwork (how we know the team is working), and how to achieve it. The roles within the team are defined, the different stages of tea leadership covered, differences management explained, and the team problem-solving method is taught. On the level of the organization, the basics of human resources management are covered through a case study and then the following processes get their due attention: planning and management skills; selection, onboarding, motivation, work effectiveness, and results from assessment, as well as employee satisfaction assessment.
